- Expression of Interest are invited for Consultancy Services for Institutional and Urban Infrastructure Needs Assessment of Dhusamareeb and Beledweyne Municipalities (New Cites), Somalia The consulting services (“the Services”) include an assessment of the municipal/district institutional and infrastructure needs and identify priority investments for Dhusamareeb and Beledweyne Municipalities that could potentially be financed under SURP-II. The assignment involves consultations with the respective governments to validate and approve the assessment at all stages of the assignment. It will aim to strengthen the coordination capacity of the PCU under the MoPW and will ensure full inputs from the municipal PIUs. The firm will present the findings and analyses to the PIUs, the PCU and WBG. The shortlisting criteria are as follows: Core business of the firm and years in business that is relevant to the assignment; Experience in similar assignments including undertaking urban infrastructure, urban planning/development, municipal administration, and institutional assessments in devolved or federal systems; Experience in implementing assignment/projects in the Eastern region, Horn of Africa or similar environment to that of Somali is required; The technical and managerial capability of the firm. (Provide only the structure of the organization, general qualifications and number of key staff. Do not provide CV of staff. Key experts will not be evaluated at the shortlisting stage.)
