- Tenders are invited for Short Term Consultant - Development of Accessible Schools Infrastructure Planning and Construction Policy for MOEHE Puntland SCI Contracting Office Save the Children Garowe Office Period of Consultancy 30 working days Consultant type required Both individual or Firm Responsibility for Logistics arrangements and Costs SCI will not provide Logistic arrangements (travel and Accommodatoin) during the field visit of the Consultant, Consultant shall be responsible for all costs. Taxation Provisions Consultant shall be responsible for all Taxes arising from the consultancy in line with the local Tax regulations applicable at the SCI contracting office named above Travel requirements Garowe. 8 Security requirements procedures. Qualification and Experience · University Degree in Education, Social science, Special needs education, Disability studies, Law, Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, Project Management or related fields. · Knowledge and understanding of the Inclusive education Knowledge and Experience of working with persons with disabilities and designing for accessibility · At least seven (7) years of experience in infrastructure planning, design and development (experience with school infrastructure planning will be an added advantage) 10 Evaluation Criteria · Consultnacy firms are required to submit valid Registeration certificate from the relevant authorities- · Technical proposal on how the assignment will be conducted including methodologies, policy development process, reports, and schedules (20 marks) · Proven field technical experience of similar consultancy works performed or conducted (20 marks) · Submit certificates of Consultant with advanced University degree in Educaction management Education, Social science, Special needs education, Disability studies, Law, Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, Project Management, architectural and/or civil engineering/construction or related fields (10 marks). · Submit a detailed financial proposal including all professional fees, report costs, and subsistence costs. Please note all costs must be broken down into details ( no lump sums, no contingencies, etc) (25 marks), the lowest bidder will receive the highest marks · Oral interview (25 marks)
