- Tenders are invited for Design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of hybrid/off-grid solar photovoltaic plants with battery energy storage systems for 30 health facilities in Banadir Regional Administration (BRA) in Somalia with 2 years of Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Services with the possibility of contract extension subject to availability of budget 1. The Federal Government of Somalia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Somali Electricity Sector Recovery Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the Contracts for Design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of hybrid/off-grid solar photovoltaic plants with battery energy storage systems for 30 health facilities in Banadir Regional Administration (BRA) in Somalia with 2 years of Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Services with the possibility of contract extension subject to availability of budget. For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank-s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing except for those payments which the contract provides to be made through letter of credit.
