- Tenders are invited for Provide Life-Saving WASH Services to the Most Vulnerable Drought-Affected/Displaced Communities including Idps to Prevent Loss of Lives and Drought-Induced Displacement in the Baardheere District, of Gedo Region, Somalia. Scope of Work 1. The Selected Supplier will be Responsible to Deliver Water to Asep-Designated Locations in Geriley. 2. The Water Trucks shall be Equipped with a Water Pump and Other Necessary Equipment for Filling the Water Tanks and for Distribution at Camps) 3. Each Water Truck should be Equipped with a Flowmeter, Which would Calculate the Actual Quantity of Water Distributed by the Supplier. Asep will not Accept Deliveries from Water Trucks that are not Equipped with Flowmeters. 4. A Log Sheet will be Used to Record the Exact Quantity of Water Delivered at each Location and will Need to be Signed for each Delivery by an Asep Team Member and Supplier / Truck Driver. 5. Asep will Make Payments to the Suppliers Based on the Quantity of Water Recorded in the Log Sheets. 6. Asep Team Members will be Assigned to each Delivery Location and will be Responsible to Monitor the Distribution and Filling Log Sheets. 7. The Water Trucks shall be Equipped with a Hose (of at Least 10-Meters in Length). The Delivery Hoses shall be Composed of Non-Toxic Materials Which are Suitable and Safe for Contact with Potable Water. 8. Water Quality: 1. The Supplier shall Ensure that the Water Provided is Safe for Drinking in Accordance with the Who Drinking Water Quality Guidelines and/or the Applicable National Drinking Water Standards. 2. The Supplier shall only Provide Drinking Water from Sources Accepted and Approved by Asep.. 3. In Addition, All Drinking Water Supplied must be Treated Prior to Delivery to Ensure that it is: 1.
