- Tenders are invited for Re-Habilitation of Imbresso Road (8.4km) in Barawe, South West State 2. The Ministry of Finance, Federal Government of Somalia now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for rehabilitation of 8.4 Km Road of 6m wide carriageway, 1m shoulder and side drains in Hudur town. The scope of the works include; · Construction of diversions and allowing for passage of traffic · Site clearance and topsoil stripping · Earthworks (approx. 55,000 m3) · Construction of Doweled Plain Concrete (2.8km) · Construction of Gravel Base Course and Wearing course (5.6 km) · Construction of Gravel Subbase · Construction of 1No. Box Culvert (1.5mx2.0m) at Km 6+210 · Pipe culverts (approx. 516m) · Road furniture. The construction period will be eight (18) months and a Defects Liability Period of Twelve (12) months. 1. Bidding will be conducted through open national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank-s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” dated July 1st 2016 revised November 2017, August 2018, and November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. A virtual pre-bid meeting shall be conducted by the Employer on January 24, 2023, at 1:00 PM (East Africa Time). 2. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before February 7, 2023, at 11:00 AM East Africa Time)
