- Tenders are invited for Rehabilitation of 24 Community-Owned Strategic Shallow Wells for the Host Communities and Idps in Marka District, Lower Shabelle Region of South-West State, Somalia. Specifications 1. Well Repair or replace damaged pumps. 2. Clean and disinfect the wells. 3. Replace or repair damaged casings, screens, and pipes. 4. Install or upgrade well covers and seals. 5. Conduct hydrogeological assessments for optimal well depth and screen placement. 6. Repair well platforms, handpumps, and associated equipment. 7. Install or repair water storage tanks or reservoirs. 8. Consider water distribution systems (pipes, valves, taps).
